Those who have had an eye on our websites have noticed a major change in our site design. Our goal - as always - is to make it easier for visitors and students to find what they are looking for, and having found it, to be enriched. We hope that the new design will facilitate the transmission of the Gnostic teachings and help more people benefit from them. We welcome your comments, suggestions, and feeback. On that note...

We are also pleased to introduce a new feature on all of our sites: comments and ratings. Readers can now comment directly on article and lecture pages, and rate them. We hope that this feature makes it easier for readers to ask questions, get feedback, and interact with the site and each other. (Don't worry, comments will be moderated, so there is no danger of unwanted material appearing on our sites.) We hope that this feature will soon be extended to include the audio lectures, but at the moment, the technology is not quite there.

I like many of the improvements of the website as far as functionality, the new tools, drop down menus, movable boxes, etc. It seems more professional and more easy to use. But the look of the website I feel has become a little bit more cold. The choice of colors, black at the top, grey for the side panel, these give the website a more cold feeling. Before, I felt that one of the distinguishing factors of this website from others was the art work that was the background for the different pages, I thought it was beautiful, very touching. For me, that made a big difference; just seeing the artwork in the background really sent out a message the moment you would open the website. Now, it seems maybe more professional but it also doesn't reach out to people emotionally: the top of each page is just a black background.

Overall, it seems that the website has taken one step forward in functionality, but one step backwards in aesthetic beauty. I guess I really liked how it was before, with the amazing artwork that was set as the background, it brought such light to the webpage!

Thank you for your feedback! Our first goal has been to improve functionality, which we are still working on. The images and emotional quality are next. Basically, we want to make sure it works before we dress it up! So we hope that the feeling you enjoyed on the old design will be even better in the near future. BTW, the grey area at the top is in line to get a cool new feature (you will see soon).
