We have reached 17% of our goal of $100,000. This is an amazing achievement, and has empowered Glorian to initiate numerous outreach efforts (see below). We have also heard from several Gnostic Schools who are organizing local fundraisers to aid Glorian.
Since the fundraiser began just a few months ago, the funds donated thus far have allowed us to:
Secure one year of full-page, color advertising in the national magazines Light of Consciousness and Parabola (whose new edition is out now; see our ad on page one). These ads will be in every Barnes & Noble, Borders, and other major book stores around the United States.- Hire one of the book industry’s top consultants who has worked closely with Barnes & Noble, Borders, and other leading bookstores for more than twenty years; his single focus will be to get the books of Samael Aun Weor on bookstore shelves.
- Attend book trade shows and establish a visible presence in the publishing community. Trade shows enable us to make contact with book professionals who can help us bring Samael's books to humanity.
- Begin investing in new, state-of-the-art equipment, which will facilitate many new projects in the near future (more information to come soon).
These steps are a giant leap towards placing the sacred teachings into the hands of many thousands of people.
Additionally, our other projects have been progressing smoothly:
- The Second International Gnostic Retreat was a big success. Students continue to write in with their experiences and feedback, which we will share with you soon.
- We are preparing a new round of books for publication later in the year; we will make additional announcements about this later.
- We are continuing to develop our prison program to bring Samael's books to prisoners in the U.S. as well as to provide correspondence to those who are incarcerated. We hope that this program will expand to include many more facilities and countries, since the need is truly immense.
- We continue to donate books where needed; most recently, we provided a complete set of books and videos to a Theosophical Society Library, which requested them.
We have accomplished all of this with only 17% of our established goal of $100,000. Help us to do more: please consider us in your budget and donate today. Imagine what more can be done as we get closer to our goal. Remember that many people are suffering in this world and they need the aid of Gnosis. You can make a difference in the lives of others. Help Glorian fulfill the mission of Samael Aun Weor: to deliver the pure doctrine to all of humanity, everywhere, without restriction.
