Thank you for supporting the endeavors of Glorian Publishing (formerly Thelema Press). Together, we have worked very hard for a common purpose: to spread the teachings of Samael Aun Weor. We hope that you have been pleased with the results of our collaborative efforts:

Internet

Our internet outreach efforts have reached a new level of sophistication and accessibility. We now operate ten separate websites, which are all unified under our main Gnostic Teachings site. All of these websites continue to see exponential growth and popularity.

Gnostic Teachings ranks in the top ten of Google searches related to Gnosis or Gnosticism.
We have launched two new websites that are fast becoming very popular:

SamaelAunWeor.info: featuring rare photos and stories of the Master’s life
Sacred-sex.org: scriptures from world religions about sex

Video

We have also produced a full length DVD documentary on sacred sexuality, according to the teachings of Samael Aun Weor, entitled “Sex: The Secret Gate to Eden.”

Over 126,000 people have watched clips from the DVD online.
Gnostic schools around the world are using the video as a teaching tool. Requests for other languages are ever increasing.

Although sales of the video have been slow (largely because people copy rather than purchase the video), we have initiated a new effort to raise awareness of it (please see below).

Glorian and Finances

Three years ago we developed a business model that has enabled us to print a greater number of books at one time in order to bring down production costs as well as fund reprints. We have succeeded in our effort; our new business structure is enabling us to keep the books in print and available to humanity, while also allowing us to bring new titles to press. This has allowed us to lower the prices on numerous titles, and we look forward to continuing this trend as often as possible. On many occasions, book industry professionals have told us that our prices are much lower than comparable books on the market, especially for the quality that we offer.

As always, we remain staffed entirely by volunteers. This is by no means easy but we are committed to utilizing every dollar that comes in for the benefit of humanity. No one is profiting financially from Glorian Publishing.

The Next Level

Although we are happy with the results of our community efforts, we sincerely believe that they are just a small drop of healing balm in the ocean of suffering that engulfs humanity. Therefore, Glorian Publishing is now preparing to spread the Gnostic teachings on an unprecedented scale.

Our goals are clear: we want humanity to easily find the books of Samael Aun Weor in every bookstore offering English language books. We want to have Gnostic videos in video rental and retail stores. We want Samael Aun Weor to be featured in magazines, newspapers, on the radio and TV. In short, we want to realize the mission of Samael Aun Weor in English: to offer every soul the chance to return to Eden.

Books: The Next Step

We now have the majority of Samael Aun Weor’s major works published and available to humanity. We are committed to having all of his works in print in English and available internationally. This is the core of our mission. As always, even now we have multiple titles in various stages of publication.

The primary obstacle we face is a lack of public awareness; as you know, very few people have heard of our tradition. We need to educate the public, bookstore owners, and book industry professionals about Samael Aun Weor and Gnosis. Therefore, we have drafted an advertising and marketing plan, initially centered on advertising the books in book industry publications, and mainstream magazines like Parabola; look for our first ad on page one of the summer issue.

Internet: The Next Step

We hope to expand the reach of our websites beyond searches for “gnosis,” since very few who seek spiritual help know to search for that term. Our first step is a major revision of the inner structure of the sites, which will make us more friendly to internet searches.

Additionally, we are initiating an online marketing campaign to raise awareness and visibility of our sites. We already have a team of volunteers working on this effort. If you would like to participate, write to us here.

Gnostic Radio is poised to make major growth. Instead of having only five or six lectures playing repeatedly, we want to have a more diverse, more easily accessible collection of lectures playing. Thus, we will soon implement a radical upgrade of the radio technology which will allow us to get the station listed in iTunes and other internet radio sources.

Videos: The Next Step

Clearly, video is a very powerful tool, one that we have barely begun to utilize. Video production is expensive and time consuming. The DVD we released last year took five years to make, and was only made possible by generous donations of funds and access to professional equipment. We no longer have access to the needed equipment, so we hope to purchase a system that will allow us to begin production on new videos. We have several exciting projects that we hope to bring to fruition.

We also want to move forward on releasing additional translations of Sex: The Secret Gate to Eden, such as German, French, Italian, Portugese, and more.

Reality Check

We have important goals, but the reality is that we cannot do it without your help. To understand why, here is some insight into our day to day expenses in comparision with the donations that we receive. This chart does not include any book publishing or the Gnostic Retreat.

Thus you can see that donations fall short of helping us cover our basic expenses.

Glorian Needs Your Support

We believe that we can accomplish our goals - and more - with your help. Thus, we are seeking to raise $100,000 by the end of the year, for the following purposes:

To raise awareness of Gnosis and Samael Aun Weor through print and online advertising
To initiate the development of new videos by acquiring the necessary tools
To expand and enrich the online radio station

As you may recall, in 2006 the Gnostic community came together to raise the $50,000 needed to revive our depleted printing funds, in spite of those who told us that such an amount was “unreasonable.” You see before you the results of that effort: we now have more books of superior quality in English than ever before.

In actuality, those who know business will know that $100,000 is miniscule for an advertising/marketing campaign for so many books and a DVD. If you research the marketing budgets for mainstream books like “The Da Vinci Code” or “The Secret” you would see that our budget is still quite humble. (Just the marketing for the movie “The Da Vinci Code” cost an estimated $100 million dollars.) In addition, just one advertisement in a mainstream magazine like Yoga Journal or Utne Reader can cost $30,000 a month.

We have already initiated our marketing and advertising plan, and as you can see in the chart above (*), the expenses are mounting. This effort is essential to raise awareness of the teachings of Gnosis.

To meet our goals, we need to raise at least $33,000 by June 1, 2008.

We believe in the Gnostic community and in our collective power, thus we are confident that we can work together on behalf of humanity and acheive this goal. As an incentive, we would like to extend our gratitude by offering a gift in return:
