Why do instructors have to be so busy? It seems that divinity would allow them more free time so as to help the students more.

If instructors had all the time in the world in order to spread the teachings, then it would be no sacrifice for humanity. We sacrifice something when it feels like we are truly letting go of something that we value (time, money, habits, etc.).
