I want to follow the direct path, but i cant bring myself to eat meat. The thought of killing an innocent animal literally makes me feel nausea. Am i doomed? (my apologies for the melodrama)
Whether you eat meat or not is up to you.
If you are so fortunate to reach the opportunity of entering the direct path one day, you can decide then about your diet. For now, focus on where you are today, and what you need to change.

Fair enough. I just wanted 100% clarification before i proceed. Because that blog post states meat-eating is "necessary to perform white tantra". And considering that this site (as well as Samael Aun Weors books) deal primarily with meditation + white tantra , it would seem that meat-eating is a pretty important part of this path (since, its a necessity for white tantra..according to the blog post that you linked).
"Therefore, they consume some portions of red meat that contains the element fire (tattva tejas). This is necessary in order to practice white tantra (alchemy)."

ok, i read it. if the guardian doesnt care what i eat, then why does the link u shared say this:
"There are many masters from Nirvana (the spiral path) who eat a vegan or vegetarian diet, and that is conducive to their path. There are other masters who want to work with greater expediency (on the direct path, the path of the bodhisattva, also called tantra). Therefore, they consume some portions of red meat that contains the element fire (tattva tejas). This is necessary in order to practice white tantra (alchemy)."

The guardian of the direct path does not care what you eat.
